As a photographer, I aim to capture the ephemeral moments of life's journey. When I get called back by a family to capture their next monumental memories, I'm thrilled! I'm so lucky to be spending my life this way.
I photographed the Walsh's spring family portraits about a month before their baby was born.
I immediately fell in love with their family. Three adorable boys and two parents who lead them so well. Also, can we all acknowledge Amber's exceptional talent in coordinating outfits for the fam? Love!
For their newborn session, I traveled from Winston-Salem to their home in Advance, North Carolina. I walked up to their gorgeous front porch, through their red door and saw the tiniest, cutest newborn sleeping soundly.
Amber, the amazing do-it-all mama, had the cutest outfits picked out for baby Judah.
Gotta love some letter blocks!
To remember all the little details, we created the portraits below. Judah was inspired by his set and was super expressive.
He's here! Haha, too cute!!!
Judah has a daddy who loves sports, so we used his sport tokens to show just how adorably tiny Judah is at 2 weeks old.
Go Mets! I knew I liked the Walsh Family ;)
The following photos are some of my all time favorites. I absolutely love when I get to photograph a family at home. There really is no place like home.
"They will never know a life without each other." - Amber
Look how he clings lovingly to his Mama. You just have to cherish the dependency and bond between a newborn and his Mama.
Welcome home baby Judah!
