I met Anna and Devin in downtown Winston-Salem for their maternity portraits.
About two months later, I got an e-mail from Devin saying, "It's that time again! Baby Theo arrived on Tuesday!"
I was so excited to meet their adorable baby boy.
Right away, I left my house in Arcadia and drove to their home in Winston. It wasn't hard to find their apartment.
Clearly Theo is already very much loved!
His nursery was full of carefully placed decor, showing all the love his parents put into preparing for his arrival.
He was in a perfectly sleepy state as we began creating his very first professional photoshoot. I prepared a place next to the window, and we carefully put him in his cozy place.

My favorite moment during a newborn shoot, is when I hear the parents behind me relax after all the chaos they've had over the past week, and enjoy the beauty of their new baby.
He was so sweet and let me pose his hands on the knitted hat from my newborn prop supplies.
Anna had the cutest onesie ready for him. I crossed his hands to give him a gentleman pose, for his little gentleman suit.
Baby Theo, you are surround by family and friends who love you so very much. You have a wonderful life ahead of you.
Anna and Devin, thank you so much for choosing me to capture such a special time in your lives. Enjoy all the cuddles and watching him grow!
