Beatrice's First Birthday Party!

It seems like yesterday I was witnessing Beatrice's water birth! Then I saw her a few weeks later in her home sweet home for her lifestyle newborn photoshoot. The day for her first birthday had come so quickly!

Heather brought a wagon along just incase Beatrice needed a ride to cheer her up. What a great idea!!

Her dress was made by Shway Shway.

Beatrice's Birthday Party venue was Little Creek Park in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It's a splash pad and playground!

Family and friends gathered in the shelter to celebrate with food, cake, and lemonade. They party had a bumble bee theme, for Beatrice!

The cake was made by Bespoke Confections. They "hire adults on the autism spectrum in order for them to gain work experience they need to become a more attractive candidate for future employment".

The cupcake stands are from Pier 1.

Snack items were made by Delicious By Shereen.

The honey is from Colony Urban Farm!

Casey and Joseph are expecting a baby of their own very soon! Their gender/name reveal was so sweet!

Heather and I are in a facebook group called Waste Free in Winston. There we share ideas on how to live more sustainably. To eliminate a lot of party trash, she used mason jars, reusable plates, unpaper towels, and utensils. What a great idea!!

Her party favors were snack jars for the kids to take home, which are made of eco-friendly materials. She even made one for my son Arlo! I was blown away.
