Hannah & Kyle's Wedding
Hannah and I met many moons ago. She's my friend Annie's friend from their college days. Now she lives in the hip city of Seattle. She came to Winston-Salem to marry her best friend Kyle.
To my delight, she asked me to be her photographer! We met at Panera in Clemmons, she signed the contract and that was it! We were drawn to each other's introverted, go with the flow personalities that we both have in common.
They got married in Belews Creek on Friends Farm. Hannah said she liked that venue because they plan everything for you! Since she was planning her North Carolina wedding from Seattle, she very smartly, took any easy roads she could find!

One of the first photos I took on their wedding day was of her wedding rings. I walked around inspecting all the leaves around before I found the perfect one...

Her sister and Mother helped me carry her dress. They held back branches so I could get the shot.

She got her wedding dress for under $100 via amazon! Can you believe that!?
As the bridesmaids got ready, I did my thing and took candids.

Hannah brought out her tablet, ipod, whatever the kids call those things, and pulled up a youtube hair tutorial video. As the video played, and they copied the instructor, I couldn't believe they executed a perfect bridal hair-do while watching a youtube video.

Hannah surprised her loved ones with gifts. As you can tell, they loved them...

I ran ahead of the bridesmaids to capture details of the ceremony that was already beginning.

Two love birds waited to be released.
"The wedding venue said they package we got came with a dove release. So I said sure!" - Hannah.

As guests arrived, the bridesmaids waited out of sight on a hayride.

And now the ceremony begins. I'll let the photos do the talking.

Thank you Hannah and Kyle for trusting me to capture your wedding day. I hope you enjoy your photos for all the many happy years to come!
Happily Ever After,
Alisha
