Morgan and I went to West Forsyth High School together. I often saw her and her friends walk through the hallway because they lit up a room when they were together. Always smiling, always confident, always friendly.
When she asked me to photograph her wedding I was thrilled! Let me tell you, she was a DREAM bride to work with. She had zero questions/requests and was ready to hire me! Her trust in me to do my thing was so life giving. Her relaxed nature made me inspired to go above and beyond for her.

The bridesmaids got ready at an Airbnb near Lake Norman, North Carolina.
The charming Airbnb was relaxing from the moment I heard the gravel driveway crunch and the house popped into view.
Everyone was inside having fun and pampering each other.
They made me feel right at home, offering me food and welcoming me into their family for the day.
Morgan's daughter was being cute everywhere she went.
As hairspray flew and makeup was opened, they chatted about the exhaustion and joy of motherhood, Red Table Talk, relationship advice, career aspirations, party plans and more.

They drove 5 minutes down the road to Queens Landing, the wedding venue.
Here I met William and his friends.
These guys filled the room with energy! I usually remain a fly on the wall and capture candids and occasionally guide moments into good lighting. But these guys had me in a full blown photoshoot! They had a blast coming up with scenes for my second shooter Gina and I to capture. LOVE them!
The moment William's Father walked in the room, everyone paused and greeted him. He was clearly respected and important.
After the wedding, he passed away. My love goes out to his loved ones. It was an honor to capture him on the day of William's wedding.
"We're going to surprise Morgan with a gift," Morgan's Mom whispered to me...
