When the summer is coming to a close, it's time for Ellie and Torrin's birthday party! They are years apart but their birthdays are so close together so their family throws one big grand summer birthday party for both of them and it's always amazing.
This year they had the party at their house which lies in a valley of the Blue Ridge Parkway of North Carolina.
Their mother is Gina Flippin of Fisher Moon Photography. She often works as my team mate and we photography weddings together, like Morgan & William's Wedding.
When you step on their property, you're instantly transported into everything wonderful about the south, slow living, gorgeous mountain views, wild flower fields and Gina's plant collection! Haha. She runs Surry County Plant Community on facebook.
Her plant clippings and sales got me started on my own plant collection and I'm sure I'm not the only person who can say the same.
As the sunset over the hills, the kids laughed and played.
Then cake, piñata, and presents, presents, presents!
And of course, because we could...family photos!
